This is intriguing because Normal is immune to Ghost, which is one of Psychic’s vulnerabilities, and Psychic is resistant to Fighting, another of Normal’s weaknesses. Therefore, Girafarig is more viable since its two types complement each other well. Unfortunately, many fans are unaware of this, so Girafarig is sometimes dismissed as just another Pokédex entry.

DUNSPARCE

By glancing at its stats, Dunsparce may appear to be a bit lackluster. It does, however, have a respectable basic HP of 100. In addition, it has a fantastic movestat that several trainers are unaware of. In battle, Dunsparce is a jack-of-all-trades. It is odd because it’s a Normal-type, but it only has a Fighting weakness. URSARING

Teddiursa is quite popular due to its cuteness. Ursaring, on the other hand, does not receive the same level of affection. There are a lot of strong Normal-type Pokémon in Johto, making it difficult to choose. Ursaring has a good amount of HP and a significant base Attack stat of 130. In addition, it can learn a wide range of moves, allowing it to dominate a wide range of opponents. However, it is a pity that it did not receive the attention it deserved.

SHUCKLE

Shuckle is a very contentious Pokémon, believe it or not. Many people avoid it since it is a Bug-type, and Bug-types are known to be weak. It has a 230 defense and a 230 special defense. Rock, Steel, and Water are its only weakness. Shuckle can be a nightmare to deal with. However, with Defense boosting status moves, Rest to replenish health, and various other challenging attacks, it can stand a battle. Somehow, this Pokémon has always been underappreciated.

OCTILLERY

Octillery is one of the most underappreciated Pokémon in the Johto region. However, because it is a rather powerful attacker, this is undeserved. Its statistics aren’t great, but it can get the job done. It only has a few powerful Water-type attacks at its disposal, yet these are plenty for it to deal continuous damage. Octillery, while not the most physically pleasing character, has enough distinguishing features and attacks to merit a spot on any player’s team.
